Job-Gate: Who Sends Clinton to “sit down” with Sestak?

By Adam Bitely -

Moments earlier, the White House finally revealed a few details about the job offer made to Joe Sestak. The offer was made in hopes of Sestak withdrawing from the Democratic Primary against Arlen Specter. Senior White House advisers say Bill Clinton sat down with Sestak in an informal discussion.

But which White House Senior adviser would have the muscle to send Bill Clinton?

Connect the dots.

Who in the White House has the connections with Clinton to have him perform such a mission on behalf of Obama? Rahm Emanuel.

Rahm, the former political adviser for Clinton, must have asked Clinton to go to meet with Sestak at the behest of the Obama White House. Rahm, the Don of the Chicago Political Mafia would have the pull to get this done.

There you have it folks.

UPDATE 1:30 PM: Sestak confirms meeting with Clinton. From Politico:

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) confirmed Friday that former President Bill Clinton approached him on behalf of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, raising the prospect of Sestak joining a presidential advisory board and staying out of the Senate primary with Sen. Arlen Specter. Clinton “said that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had spoken with him about my being on a presidential board while remaining in the House of Representatives. I said no,” Sestak said in a statement.

UPDATE: Politico reports that White House Chief Counsel Bob Bauer confirms Rahm sent Clinton…

From Politico:

White House Counsel Bob Bauer confirmed that Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel used President Bill Clinton as an intermediary to offer Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) an unpaid, executive branch advisory board position to “avoid a divisive Senate primary,” Bauer denied Sestak was offered a nomination as Navy secretary, and said all discussions were “consistent with the relevant law and ethical requirements.”

What rational person sends Clinton in the first place? Rahm was definitely behind this.

My bet is this. Heads will roll, but they will be people we have never heard of. These lesser trolls will fall on the sword in the name of Saving Rahm.

Something really stinks here, that’s for sure. Like congressman Issa pointed out (and I paraphrase): If what really happened was as innocent as this explanation, why didn’t they come with it sooner?

What better scum of the earth to send than the zipper man (Clinton).
