what total b.s., Rick. The only thing that’s standing in the way of progress on this is the radical wing nut right wing and the fat cats’ insistence that the very wealthy should not pay a fraction more, even if it’s a tiny part of the solution …. apparently just so they can say that they really don’t give a hoot about even the appearance of fairness. There isn’t one of these tycoons who will be hurt or affected by a marginal tax increase, so it’s obvious a matter of principle. All the talk is about cutting the social safety net and so-called “entitlements.” The idea is that an “entitlement” is something you feel entitled to but aren’t, but in actuality the real entitlements are the ones you’ve paid for, like my own Medicare and Social Security. Oh, otherwise I suppose we can just throw the poor, sick and needy under the bus — too expensive — so the billionaires don’t have to cash in any stocks or borrow from their parents to furnish their second third or fourth home. I’m gathering that’s what you think is what an honorable, Christian nation would do. Really, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Why don’t you go back to diatribes against global warning for a while?

This is a game of “Chicken,” and these republican “Rhinos are a new breed of “Chicken” they are already folding their cards and sneaking over to the Lib. side .. what does it take to make them understand that they have to stop playing political “Games” and get down to the business of getting this Country back on it’s feet .. and I don’t mean by Raising Taxes .. Get a budget that reduces spending ..Support the Tea Party they are the only ones who have a clue as to how this Government should function ..
